Service Robotics Ltd is recruiting part and full-time Customer Support Associates throughout the UK to support older adults, people with learning difficulties and patients who are being discharged from hospital to home and receiving a care package that includes a GenieConnect® companion robot.

The role involves remote working and is field based.

The Customer Support Associate will be responsible for installing, onboarding, and training customers and users using the unique GenieConnect® companion robot, an intelligent, personalised robotic companion service to support extended independent living for vulnerable users.

Job requirements

We want to hear from you if:

  • You have good basic technical abilities and are a quick learner
  • You are organised and a self-starter when it comes to getting things done
  • You have excellent interpersonal skills and are a people person.
  • You share our passion for using Technology For Good.
  • You have a clean driving licence and a vehicle that can be used for work
  • You are DBS approved or will pass a DBS check

Applicant preferences

We seek people with experience working with individuals receiving care, such as older adults and those with learning difficulties, either as current or former caregivers or nursing.

We are happy to consider candidates with previous experience in a front-line role, including hospitality, retail, or teaching.

Role details

  • Recruitment for these roles commences in January 2023 and onwards for the remainder of the year.
  • Applications from Shropshire and the West Midlands are particularly welcome.
  • The pay is £13 an hour for approximately 15 to 20 hours per week.
  • The role is initially for three months with the potential to extend.
  • All out-of-pocket expenses (travel, lunch, fuel etc) will be reimbursed.
  • Training will be provided by Service Robotics.
